This Unique pen took a good while to create. I laminated various pieces of Wenge , Maple, Rosewood and carefully cut them very thin and individually cut, re-laminated piece by piece to a copper tube that keeps the hardware together. Following , it was turn on a lathe very carefully, so that the wood blank would hold together.
I then used my three step finishing process by sanding with 14 grits of sanding material. The Pen body was then polished to a very nice gloss using friction polish and a smooth lacquer finish was applied.
This segmented wood pen will be admire by a person that loves pens. The extraordinary combination of woods are breath taking. It will give you a special personal style at your office.
