I profiled this beautiful Black Linen MICARTA scale into a very distinctive handle using ( MICARTA): a very tough, durable, resistant to corrosion, acids, oils, heat, cold, moisture, compression and impact material. It is formed by a special high-pressure process, using layer upon layer of the finest materials available.

The manufactured knife blank I used to customize this knife is a 1095 heavy gauge high carbon steel hunter blade with a Hardness of 58 to 60 HRC, made by a reliable knife vendor. I also used, corby rivets to attach the scales after attaching a red vulcanized fiber material used to cushion between the tang and the handle material by spreading a good amount of epoxy glue on the knife blank, tang and scales. The knife measures overall 8 1/2 inches. The Blade length is 3 1/4 inches by 1 . It is approximately .150 thick.

I spent a good amount of time profiling, sanding and buffing the scales for this hunter blade. To accompany this beautiful knife, I've included a Nylon Sheath. The Bolsters were carefully polished along with the knife blank to blend into a beautiful stylish knife. It has a real good feel to it.
