Here's a pen straight out of Victorian science fiction and the industrial 19th century. The STEAMPUNK genre has reignited a love of old fashioned materials and is all mixing the old and new, fusing the usability of modern technology with the design aesthetic and philosophy of the Victorian age. The hardware I used is from a beautiful twist pen kit. I am sure this pen will be appreciated .

The pen is made with a genuine true STEAMPUNK cast barrel, embedded in clear Polyester resin. You could actually view the copper and metallic tape with rivets through the clear casing. The STEAMPUNK TWIST PEN comes with a gold or chrome plated trim. Choose the finish when selecting.

A simple twist of the cap section and your're in action. It uses a parker style refill for smooth dependable writing. It may be refilled with Parker style rollerball or ballpoint ink refills. The size is approximately 5 1/8 in.

The construction of these pens begin when I put the blank on my lathe and carefully turned the profiled, by avoiding chipping on the barrel. Each cast blank will vary and look different from the photos, since each one is uniquely custom cast and individually turned. They are then polished and finished with micro mesh up to 12000 grits , follow by buffing with Renaissance Wax, a wax that is highly resistant to heat and finger prints and stays crystal clear. Finally comes the assembly to produce an exquisite and elegant pen that will proudly be cherished for many years to come. (NN07-G1A-2A)
