This Classic Pink Dyed lizard skin GATSBY Twist Pen has a single tube design that looks great and easy to write with. A simple twist of the cap section and you're in action. It uses a parker style refill for smooth dependable writing.

I actually took great care in casting the lizard skin, by carefully gluing it to a brass tube and then setting it in a mold and casting it in a pressure pot to avoid air bubbles. The blank turned out real nice.

I then laminated two stabilized dyed pink maple burl ends put it on my lathe and carefully turned the profiled, by avoiding chipping. It was polished with micro mesh up to 12000 grits. I then completed the buffing with Renaissance Wax, a wax that is highly resistant to heat and finger prints and stays crystal clear.
