Handcrafted razor handle made with an authentic wood blank from a used Jack Daniels Oak Barrel. This Razor fits the popular Gillette MACH3 , Ladies Venus or FUSION blades. I used white oak blanks that are made from whiskey barrels once used by the Jack Daniel Distillery. These charred white oak whiskey barrels are used to age the whiskey for at least 4 years. The barrels are then salvaged , the steel bands are remove and then the staves are disassemble . The staves are cut into over-sized blanks. I include a Certificate of Authenticity for each razor.

The fun part comes next , when I start turning the handle and profile it to blend with the chrome finish on the hardware. As I'm turning each piece, I smell the sweet aromatic blend of whiskey as it leaves the charred piece of white oak. The razor has a good stable feel to it. I've included a Certificate Of Authenticity that assure you that this is an authentic Jack Daniels Blank that were once used to age the whiskey to perfection over the course of 7 years. You can't go wrong with the Chrome finish in this handle.

I profiled the blank with a light rounded countour and sanded and finished the Beautiful Stunning Jack Daniels Oak Barrel blank handle with the hardware in mind . I then follow by sanding and finishing with a cyanoacrylate(CA) finish that will definitely make this handle water repellent. This process is followed by Buffing and then adding a generous thin coat of Renaissance Wax that will help resist moisture, fingerprints and heat.
